Kathy Woods

Kathy Pennington Woods, 53 of Canton, OH formerly of Cumberland, KY passed away suddenly on Friday January 13, 2023 at her home.
Kathy was born December 23, 1969 in Scottsburg, IN to Phyllis Hendrix Turner and the late John Pennington and was a graduate of Cumberland High School. She was employed as a Clerk at Lowe's in Alliance, OH. She always enjoyed being at the beach, lake or taking walks.
Besides her father she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dennis and Suvilla Hendrix and Boyd and Becky jane Pennington.
She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Turner and husband James O'Dell Turner; her husband, Gary Woods; daughters, Desirae Ricardo and husband Arley Ricardo and Valerie Woods; grandchildren, Adalynn Masters and Cora Ricardo; brother, James Pennington and wife Marcy Pennington; sister, Angie Pennington; she leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday (Jan.19) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, 114 S. 3rd Street, Harlan, KY 40831                                                                                                                                                      Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday (Jan 20) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Cemetery in London, KY.
