Emma Jean Tomlin

Emma Jean Tomlin, 81 of Smith, KY passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday November 20, 2022 at the Tri Cities Nursing & Rehabilitation.
Jean was born May 6, 1941 in Smith to the late David and Ethel Green Eldridge. She was a homemaker and she believed in the Baptist faith.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles Raymond Tomlin, Sr.; and two sisters, Faye Lowe and Joyce Hamlin.
She is survived by her loving children, Charles Raymond Tomlin, Jr of Smith, Richard Alan (Reesie) Tomlin of Danville, KY and Christopher Lynn (Renee) Tomlin of Harlan; grandchildren, Samantha Tomlin (Alan) Forbes of Danville, KY, Bradley Tomlin of Harlan and Joshua (Abigail) Tomlin of Russell Springs, KY; great grandchildren, Levi, Michael, & Betty JoAnna Forbes; sisters, Freda Grubbs of Cawood and Gayle Burke of Manning, South Carolina; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Wednesday (Nov. 23) at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Joshua Tomlin officiating.
Burial will follow in the Tomlin Family Cemetery at Smith, KY with Sons and Grandsons serving as Pallbearers.
