Zola Mae Dean

Zola Mae Dean, 74 of Baxter, KY passed away on Thursday November 2, 2023 at her home.

Zola was born on July 24, 1949 in Blackmont, KY to the late Ed and Geneva Dye. She was a member of the Church of the Living God in Baxter, KY. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Tommy Wayne Dean; and her sister, Cathy Dye.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Tommy Dean; her children, Tammy (Dwayne) Jones and Charles Dean; grandchildren, Glen (Tamera) Hensley, Ryan (Courtney) Dean, and Natasha Dean; great-grandchildren, Emma, Erin, Ridge, Madison, Tommi, Benson, Grayson, and Willow Ivy; special daughter-in-law, Paula Simpson; her bestfriend, Phyllis Turner; brothers, JD (JoAnn), Eric, Ronnie, Tony and Gary; sisters, Lisa, Patricia, Priscilla, Cathy and Sandy. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be Sunday (Nov. 5) from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Sunday (Nov. 5) at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Turner officiating.

Burial will follow at the Hensley Cemetery in Smith, KY.
