William Isaac (Spanky) Gross age 51 passed away November 22, 2019 at his home in Sunshine, Ky after cheating death for the past 3 years. Born July 10, 1968 to Lee Roy Gross and Sue Blanton Gross. He was employed by Black Mountain Off Road Park as a bulldozer operator. He loved the mountains and the Kentucky Wildcats. He was a special brother and Uncle Wi. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his father Lee Roy Gross and his mother Sue Blanton Gross. He is also preceded in death by his brothers Roy, Bill, Grant, Tony, and Farmer Gross. His sister Mary Lynn Blanton.
He is survived by his brother James (Sam) Blanton, Florida: sister’s Drenda Crider (Ken), Harlan, Effie Elizabeth Davenport (Phillip), Barbourville, Brenda Miller (William), Evarts, Cinda Gross, Wallins, Willa Gross, Georgia and Cathy Robinson, Illinois. A special niece, Kendell Lewis: Special nephew’s Josh Adams and Zachary Gross. Whom he loved as his own children.
Visitation is Monday, November 25, 2019, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Freeman Clark officiating.
Private burial services will be held at a later time.
