William Noble Dillman, 69 of Harlan, KY lost his battle to cancer on Friday, November 17, 2023 at his home, with his family by his side.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. To truly know him was to love him. Working was something he loved to do whether it be in the coal mines, construction, or in his later years, working in the yard. He believed in the Church of God faith. The impact he had on everyone's life is something that will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
William was born on November 17, 1954 in Smith, KY to the late Henry and Myrtle Dillman. He later became a resident of Harlan County, where he stayed until his passing.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers; Charles, Willard, Rodney, Bobby, James, and Willis Dillman, sisters; Edith Murphy and Sandra Collins, mother and father-in-law; Rev. Simon and Sharon Jones Sr., and four sister-in-laws; Aquila, Keturah, Lavonda, Naomi.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years; Tana Jones Dillman, his children; Kyle Dillman, Keaton Dillman, and Myra (Ryan) White, grandchildren; Madison Dillman, Easton White, and Evan White, brother; Ford (Billie) Dillman, sisters; Erma (Eddie) Howard and Glenna (Terry) Pennington, brother-in-laws, Jonathan (Nicki) Jones, Simon (Judy) Jones, and Samuel (Missy) Jones, sister-in-laws; Jessica (Billy) Black, and Rolanda (Lee) Smith, and a long time friend; Green Bailey Middleton. He also leaves behind a host of family, nieces, nephews, and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Sunday (Nov. 19) 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Monday (Nov. 20) at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Vonny Jones and Rev. Allen Jones officiating.
Burial will follow the funeral services at Harber Cemetery in Smith, KY.
