Wanda Owens

Wanda Faye Owens, 79 of Harlan passed away on Friday December 11, 2020 at the Continue Care Hospital in Corbin, KY.
Mrs. Owens was born April 11, 1941 in Evarts, Ky to the late Claude and Pearl Ellenburg Hall. She was retired clerk from Creech Drug Store and Mack's Grocery Store. She believed in the Baptist Faith and enjoyed her grandchildren and working with her flowers.
Besides her parents she was preceded in in death by her husband, Fred N. Owens, Sr; brothers, Bill, Elmer, Homer, and Charles Hall; sister, Louise Dean.
She is survived her children, Fred N. (Vickie) Owens, Jr of Harlan, Sandra Owens of Harlan, Audrey Gooden of London, and Bob (Phylis) Owens of Pulaski, TN; grandchildren, Chris Owens, Katie Johnson, Daniel Gooden, Nick Hensley, Sam Owens, Grace Gerlach, Jeremy Jackson, and Jason Jackson; several great grandchildren.
Her brothers, Jim (Debbie) Hall, Bob (Judy) Hall, and Henry Hall; sisters, Margie Farley and Claudette Grubbs; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, kids for whom she considered her own, and her friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Tuesday Dec. 15, 2020 after 11:00 am at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Sean Daniels officiating. Burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith with Family and Friends serving as Pallbearers.
