Vivian Lanham, 92 of Harlan, KY passed away March 8 at the home of her daughter surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born in Mt. Hope, WV on February 20, 1922. In 1946 she met and married Corman Lanham and moved to Kentucky where she became an avid Kentucky basketball fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Corman Lanham.
She is survived by her three daughters: Rhonda (Larry) Ellis of Harlan, KY; Jan (Marty) Songer of Lexington, KY; and Carma (Mike) Fisher of Winchester, KY. Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Kelly McNiel, Mark Ellis, Bill Songer, Cheryl Songer, Marty Songer, Dylan Fisher, and Jamaica Knauer; eight great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Private Memorial Services will be in Lexington, KY. In her memory, the family request donations be made to the Hospice of the Bluegrass (P.O. Box 189, Harlan, KY 40831) who were so kind to her during her illness.
