Viola Johnson

Viola Johnson, 79 of Teetersville passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon of July 20, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Viola was born January 16, 1941 in Middlefork, KY to the late Jack Bailey and Rosie Saylor Bailey Thomas. She was a homemaker and faithful member of the Jenson Pentecostal Holiness Church. She enjoyed cooking, working with her flowers and spending time with her family.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by infant children, Jackie Ray, Andrea Kay, and Bobby Gene; grandson, Bradley Lee Branson; great grandson, Travis Zachariah Perkins; sisters, Cynthia Roark and Mary Jane Johnson; also brothers/sisters, Martin Brock, Virginia Brock, Amon Brock, Norma Brock.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 and half years, Benny Johnson; children, Bennie (Edna) Johnson, Jr; Avonna Faye "Flo" (Raymond) Freeman, Linda (David) Blevins, and Billy Johnson, Geraldine (Roy) Barnett; grandchildren, Bennie (Shannon) Johnson, Martha (Jackie) Anderson, Wesley Branson, Viola Krissy Branson, Whitney Branson, Sierra Foster, Jamela Turner, Lucas Blevins, Joseph (Brittney) Johnson, Hannah (Aaron) Collins, Jonathan Johnson, Rachael (Steven) Skidmore; great grandchildren, Hunter (Katie) Gilpin, Logan (Alexis) Johnson, Nathan (Keliegh) Gilpin, Ashton Johnson and fiancee, Josh, Benjamin Gilpin, Dylan, Dalton, Decota, Shay Broughton, Allison Broughton, Josie & Joseph Lawson, Alexis Branson, Little Brad Branson, Braden Branson, Gabriel Hezekiah Foster, Jocelyn Sparrow Shackleford, Abigail A. Johnson, James W. Gross, Victoria J. Johnson, Brantley R. Holland (Gross), Kendal, Lynnex, and Landri Blevins, Raelyn, Cooper, Israel, Carson, Brady, Zane, Sadie, Steven Tate; Great Great Grandchildren, Aligah, Jaxton, Kora, and Xavier; brother, Bill (Mary) Bailey; sisters, Carolyn (Ralph) Felosi and Eldora (Bill) Rice; also sisters, Leta Brock, Gelena Jackson, and Nila (Gareth) Wilson. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her family.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday (July 22) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, then 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm Thursday (July 23) and Friday (July 24) at the Jenson Pentecostal Holiness Church, 560 Highway 2013, Pineville, KY 40977.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday (July 25) at the Jenson Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastors Ronnie Hoskins, Richard Asher, and Demus Couch officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Wright-Johnson Cemetery at Teetersville, KY
