Verlin Faye (Saylor) Zugay, 72 of Wallins passed away Monday September 11, 2017 at her home.
Faye was born March 28, 1945 in Pineville, KY to the late Joe and China Hensley Saylor.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by the father of her children, John Hancock, Sr; her husband Kenny Zugay; her son, John Hancock, Jr; daughter, Judy Faye Benson; 4 brothers, Carr B. Saylor, Harold G. Saylor, Radford Baylor, and Earl E. Saylor; 2 sister in laws, Helen Saylor and Lillie Saylor; son in law, Alonzo Turner, Jr.; 1st grandbaby, Eric Stevens, Jr.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Theresa Turner, Sandra (Eric) Stevens, and Sylvia (Tommy) Chasteen; 1 brother, Johnnie Saylor; sister, Kaye (Murphy) Nolan; Special sister in law, Sylvia Saylor; sister in law, Beulah Saylor; 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing; the love of her life Arthur Stephens.
Visitation will be Thursday (Sept. 14) after 5:00 pm at the First Pentecostal Church of God in Coldiron (Block Church).
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Friday (Sept. 15) at the First Pentecostal Church of God in Coldiron (Block Church) with Rev. Ed Houston officiating.
Burial will follow in the Saylor Cemetery on Jesse’s Creek in Coldiron.
