Tommy Mac McKenzie, 42 of Corbin, formerly Harlan, Kentucky died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was a 1993 graduate of Harlan High School and a self-employed heavy equipment operator with McKenzie Trucking.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy McKenzie as well as his grandparents Joe and Mary McKenzie.
Surviving are his wife, Victoria Lunsford McKenzie; daughter, Emma Grace McKenzie of Corbin, KY; father, Tommy (Diane) Evans of Georgia; brother, Danny Evans of Corbin; sisters, Melissa Herring of Georgia, Brandy Dean of Georgia, and Amber Morris of Georgia; grandmother, Lena B. Evans of Corbin; special aunt, Lynda (Michael) Jones of Harlan; mother in law, Rose Couch, father in law, Walter Lunsford, step father in law, Wayne Storm; and brother-in-law, Brandon Lunsford of London. Also surviving are five nephews, five nieces as well as a host of cousins, relatives and many friends
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 1:00-3:00 in the chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home. Celebration of life services will follow at 3:00 PM. Tommy’s lifelong friend, Brother Brian Miniard will officiate the services.
