Timothy Goins

Timothy Lee Goins, 46 of Wallins passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at the Middlesboro Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Tim was born November 9, 1975 in Harlan to the late John and Martha Thomas Goins. A lifelong resident of Harlan Co., he had worked around strip mines most of his life. He believed in the Pentecostal faith, enjoyed 4-wheeling, Fishing, and watching football.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Tommy and John Charles Goins.
He is survived by his children, Destini (Jake) Raleigh of Lexington, Timothy and Brayden Goins of Wallins; stepmother, JoAnne Goins; brother, Ronnie (Nancy) Goins of Wallins; sisters, Theresa Goins Chevell Goins both of Wallins, and Kathy (Angel) Berrios of Murfreesboro, TN; special aunt, Charlene Hatfield and Della Hansel; special cousin, Bernice Goins (Bill) Buchannon; a host of cousins nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friends and caretakers, Jake and Jessica Graves.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Thursday (Oct. 20) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Carmical officiating.
Graveside services 11:00 am Friday (Oct. 21) at the Thomas Cemetery at Happy Top with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery just prior to service time.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Middlesboro Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for the care that was given to Tim and to Travis Hensley for seeing that the grave was dug and prepared for the burial.
