Terry Mitchell

Terry Mitchell, 67 of Cawood, KY passed away Wednesday afternoon of March 2, 2022 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center following a brief illness.
Terry was born January 21, 1955 in Harlan to the late McKinley and Emma Osborne Mitchell. He was a lifelong resident of Cawood and believed in the Church of God Faith. He enjoyed going to the lake, watching wrestling, and playing horseshoes. If you knew Terry, he always greeted you with that big smile and a hug. He will be deeply missed by his family.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank Russell, Meril Mitchell, Arthur Mitchell, and McKinley Mitchell, Jr.
He is survived by his siblings, Danny Mitchell, Roger Mitchell, Dennis (Kristy) Mitchell, Brenda (Jim) Brackett, and Jolene (Quentin) Farley very special brother and father figure, Willy Tinsley; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends are left to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Saturday (March 5) from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday (March 6) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. John Carter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery at Cawood, KY with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
