Tave Blanton
November 10, 1952 — February 23, 2016
Tave Blanton, 63 of Wallins, KY passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at her home. Tave was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Wallins for 30 years. She enjoyed watching Westerns and UK Basketball.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Cottrell and daughter, Kristie Blanton Link.
Surving are her husband of 45 years, Eugene Blanton; mother, Virginia Cottrell of Wallins; children Gene (Gina) Blanton of Somerset, and Tina (Tony) Dean of Evarts; grandchildren, Danielle Miller, C J Blanton, Kody Blanton, Noah Blanton, Jacob Blanton, Jalena Blanton, and Whitney Blanton; great-granddaughter, Kristie Miller; sister, Ella Wren of Wallins; and son-in-Law, Harold Link of Harlan.
Visitation will be Friday, February 26, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home. Rev. Ray Stepp and Rev. Josh Coots will officiate the services. Music will be provided by Sheba Coots.
Interment will follow the funeral in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY.
