Sherry Lynn Smith

Sherry Lynn Smith, 68 of Harlan, KY passed away Friday evening of March 28, 2025 at the home of her parents while surrounded by family and friends.

Sherry was born March 24, 1957 in Harlan, KY to James & Inez Pace Wilson. She was a homemaker and member of the Grays Knob Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed sightseeing, going to the lake, planting flowers and being with her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Smith; her son, Nicholas Todd Wilson; grandparents, Cleo and Luck Pace, John and Pearl Wilson.

Surviving are her parents, James and Inez; her sons, Teddy (Angie) Smith and Kevin (Makayla) Smith; her grandchildren, James, Brady, Lauren, Nova, Bryson, McKenzie and Landon; great grandchildren, Kennedy, Drew, T.J., Caysen, Avery and one on the way, Amelia; special friends and caregivers, Snobia Brock, Linda Brewer, Lois and Roy Kilgore; she leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm Wednesday (April 2) at the Grays Knob Pentecostal Church.

Church services will follow at 7:00 pm at the Church with Bro. Johnny Smith and Bro. Terry Baker officiating.

Private Entombment will be at the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY.

Pallbearers will be Teddy Smith, Kevin Smith, Michael Allen, James Smith, Brady Smith and Trent Ritchie.
