Shawn Kevin Smith, 30 of Cawood passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 due to injuries received in an automobile accident. He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Lee Smith and grandparents Bethel Stewart and Willie Stewart Jordan, Bert Jordan, Meadie Smith and Byrd Smith.
Left to cherish his memory are wife, Samantha Bargo Smith; mother, Sharon Stewart; children, Tyler, Reagan, Shawn, Michael, and Hezekiah; sister, Misty (Clyde) Smiley; brothers, Byrd (Tabatha) Smith and Oscar (Sierra) Smith; a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly; and special friends, Autumn Thomas and Alicia Greene.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home and Thursday from 1:00-3:00 PM in the Mountain Assembly Church of God at Cawood.
The funeral will follow at the church at 3:00 PM with the Rev. Franklin Stewart officiating.
Burial will follow the funeral in the Fields Cemetery with friends and relatives serving as pallbearers.
