Sharon Middleton

   Sharon Middleton, 64 of Evarts, KY passed away Wednesday morning of September 13, 2023 at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. 
   Sharon was born May 12, 1959 in Hazard, KY to the late John and Rebecca Nantz Shepherd. She was a homemaker and believed in the Holiness faith. She lived in Harlan all of her life. Sharon enjoyed going to church and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
   Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Middleton; daughter, Heneritta Middleton; father and mother in law, Johnny and Snobie Middleton. 
   She is survived by her children Snobia (Johnny Joe) Brock, Ann (Tracy) Short, Teresa Middleton, Henry (Tara) Middleton, Helen (Tim) Sizemore, and Johnny (Lindsay) Middleton; grandchildren, Payton and Jared Brock, Trevor (Caitlyn) Short, Halie (Matthew Deaton) Short, Madison Short, Brooklyn Middleton, T.J. Kelly, Jacob Middleton, Destiny Middleton, Zoe Jones, Odie Middleton, Paislee Middleton, Journie Middleton, Taylor Sizemore, Lacie Sizemore, Ryan Lee Sizemore, Amanda Middleton, Elizabeth Coker, and Jack Coker; 3 great-grandchildren, Addie Eldridge, Kyler Short, Hunter Deaton; 2 great-grandchildren on the way, Easton Short, and Ravelyn Middleton; her siblings, John Simpson, Sheldon (Evelyn) Shepherd, Helen (Woodroe) Smith, and Ann (Allen) Fultz. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends to mourn her passing.
   Visitation will be anytime on Saturday (September 16) at her home, 206 Apple Lane Evarts, KY 40828. 
   Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday (September 17) at her home with Bro. Keith Stewart officiating.
   Burial will follow in the Turner Cemetery in Verda, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
