Sharon Kaye Dailey

    Sharon Kaye Dailey, 77 of Harlan formerly of Lexington passed away peacefully Monday evening of December 25, 2023 at the Harlan ARH.
   Sharon was born October 19, 1946 in Winchester, KY to the late William Clay and Helen Hiller Dailey. She had worked in hospitality for different Hotels and lived most of her life in Lexington. She was a loving mother and grandmother. 
   Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ann Cope; siblings, Charles Dailey, Gerald "Jerry" Dailey and Mary Deloris Abney.
   She is survived by her loving children, Raymond "Humphy" (Tonuja) Dailey of Lexington, Donna Jean Hatfield of Winchester, KY and Nancy (Ronnie) Goins of Wallins, KY; grandchildren, Chrissy (Glenn) Hobbs, Heather Dailey, Derrick (Melissa) Hatfield, II, Austin Goins, Brittany Goins, Nathan Campbell Goins, Rachel Cope, Sarah Meade and William Cope; great grandchildren, Caden Cornett, Harrison Hobs, Holden Hobbs, Kennedy Cornett, Zoey Cornett, Harper Hobbs and Holly Hobbs; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives to mourn her passing. 
  Family will recieve friends from from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm with a Celebration of Sharon's life to follow at 1:30 pm Saturday (Dec. 30) at Harvest Worship Center, 113 N Main St, Harlan, KY 40831 with Rev. Roland "Bo" Lee officiating.
   The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Nurses and Nurse Aid's at the Harlan Health & Rehabilitation Center, where mom called home for the last few months of her life. To the Doctors and staff of Harlan ARH who took care of her so many times recently.
