Rudolph "Rudy" Hillen, Sr

Rudolph C. Hillen, Sr. 78 of Harlan passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at his home.
Rudy was born October 4, 1943 in Lynch, KY to the late, William J. Hillen, Sr and Anastasia Hillen. He was a member of the Stooksbury, TN Lodge 602 F & AM; Harlan Chapter 165 RAM; Harlan Council 91 R & S Masters; Duffield Commandry 42, Knights Templer; several advancerd Degrees and Orders in Each of the York Right bodies.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, William J. Hillen; sister, Frances Rose; a niece, Reland Absher.
He is survived by his sons, Rudolph C. (Susan) Hillen, Jr, Cecil W. Hillen, and John D. (Suzanna) Hillen; grandchildren, Katlyn Hillen and Logan Hillen, Daryl Bennett, Ariana Wilson, and Sean Hillen; 1 sister, Agnes Absher; mother of his children, Gloria Myers; and a niece, Leslie (Mike) Garner.
Visitation will be 2:00 pm 4:00 pm Sunday (Dec. 12) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Masonic services will begin at 4:00 pm with funeral services immediately following with Rev. Freeman Clark officiating.
Private burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY.
