Ronald Jay Spoelman, 72 of Harlan passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015.
Ron was born Oct. 28, 1943 in Hudsonville, MI to the late Cornelius and Gertrude Vanderwall Spoelman. He had resided in Harlan Co. for 37 years and served as Pastor of the Cawood, Cranks, Smith, and Hyden Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his sons, Seth Spoelman & Heather Levy of Wahiawa, Hawaii, Colin Spoelman and Ry Russo-Young of New York, NY; his daughter, Leah Spoelman of Wahiawa, Hawaii; brothers, Ken Spoelman, Dennis (Kathy) Spoelman, and Larry Spoelman; sisters, Joan (Herb) Jager, Mary (David) Timmer, Linda (Vern) Vanklompenberg, and Eunice (Addis) Rezene; grandchildren, William and Arthur Spoelman.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Saturday (Nov. 28) at the Cawood Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kyle Burnette officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hensley Cemetery at Smith, KY.
There will be no visitation.
