Ronald Clark Fields, 80 of Hamilton, OH formerly of Harlan passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the VA Hospice Care in Dayton, OH.
Ronnie was born December 18, 1939 in Harlan to the late Zettler and Elsie Lawson Fields. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and enjoyed metal detecting, hunting for Artifacts, and collecting Antiques. He was a member of the Westview Church of Christ.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Betty Fields, 2nd wife, Joanne Reed Fields; brother, Zettler Fields, Jr; sisters, Zetta Lynn Napier, Della Noe and Janice Gambrel; great granddaughter, Ellie "Bean" Laine Fishburn.
He is survived by his wife Mary Cornett Jones Fields; children, Ronald Clark Dusty (Elizabeth) Fields, and Karen (Dave) Townsend; grandchildren, Austin and Logan Fishburn, Laura Elizabeth Fields, and Cameron Townsend; great grandson, Lathan Fishburn; 1 brother, Larry Fields; he leaves several nieces, nephews, sister in laws, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Monday (Sept. 14) from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Graveside services will follow at 2:30 pm Monday (Sept. 14) at the Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY with Military Rites being observed by the Harlan Honor Guard.
Following the graveside service the family will gather at the Dayhoit Community Memorial Park to remember the life of Ronnie.
Covid-19 Restrictions of 50% of our capacity, face masks, and social distancing all set by the Governor of Kentucky shall be followed.
