Roger W. Stewart 58 of Cranks, KY passed away on Wednesday morning of May 22, 2024 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard.
Roger was born June 12, 1965 in Harlan to the late George "Buddy" and Shirley Stewart. He worked for the Cawood Water District for almost 20 years. He enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and being in the mountains. He believed in the Holiness faith.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Guy and Rosie McMillian and Pope and Mildred Stewart.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Margie Jean Cooper Stewart; 2 brothers, Jimmy (Judy) Stewart of Cranks and Kenneth (Sherry) Stewart of Rosspoint; his daughter, Rae Ann (Jamie) Couch of Ages; 2 step daughters, Regina Napier of Marathon FL and Cassie Napier of Ohio; 1 granddaughter, Hailey Skidmore of Cranks.
Nieces and nephews, Monica (Patrick) Middleton, Jimmy (Megan) Stewart, Jr all of Cranks, JD Miller of Rosspoint; 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew, Kathy Sue Middleton, Kenidy Faith Middleton, Jace Allen Edward Middleton which he adored very much.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 9:00 pm Friday (May 24) at the Riverside Church of God in Cawood, KY.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday (May 25) at the Riverside Church of God with Rev. Franklin Stewart officiating.
Burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery at Cawood, KY.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Stewart, Patrick Middleton, Jimmy Stewart, Jr, Jamie Couch, Mark Burkhart and Danny Osborne.
