Roger Long

Roger Lewis Long, 73 of Coldiron, KY passed away Thursday morning of March 10, 2022 at his home.
Roger was born July 16, 1948 in Harlan to the late Virgil Long, Sr and Geneva Brock Long. He had retired after 41 years of working in Illinois.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanette Long Barbay.
He is survived by his loving family, Joyce Long SImpson, Virgil (Shelby) Long, Jr, Shirley Long Simpson, David (Sherry) Long, Nona (Rev. Jack) Carmical, Jan Rose (Vernon) Blanton, and Dell Long all of Coldiron, KY; nephews and nieces, Casey, Mike, Deanna, Terry, Geneva, Jimmy, Stewart, Rodney, Alvin, and Candace; 16 great nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Monday (March 14) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm Monday (March 14) in the chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Freeman Clark officiating.
Burial will follow in the Long Cemetery at Happy Top with Family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
