Robert "Tony" Dozier

Robert (Tony) A. Dozier passed away from this life to his eternal home on Jan. 13, 2018, at Bay Pines Veterans Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. Robert was born in Harlan, KY on March 17, 1952. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, and retired from the Veterans Administration with 36 years of service. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Kathleen Dozier; grandparents, Ernest and Mittie Dozier, Robert Lee and Georgia Vandagriff, brothers, Ernest and William (Bill) Dozier. Robert is survived by brothers, Christopher (Tammy) Dozier of Lavergne, TN, and Paul (Jean) Williams of Bell Buckle, TN, sons, Lyle and Jason of Springfield, OH, and Jeremy of Woodbury, TN. He was blessed with lots of cousins, nephews, and nieces, and one aunt Ruth Kennedy of Murfreesboro, TN. Robert will be cremated and returned to Harlan to be placed with his parents.
