Robert Wayne Howard

Robert Wayne Howard, 71 of Pathfork, KY entered his heavenly home on Sunday evening of February 9, 2025.

He was born June 2, 1953 in Harlan to the late Miles and Nannie Wilson Howard. He was a retired coal miner and welder. He enjoyed the fishing, hunting and just being outside. He loved his grandchildren, reading his Bible and teaching them about God. Robert loved his church and would attend many churches, words cannot describe just how much he loved serving the Lord.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Melinda Leigh Howard; his sisters, Opal Burgan, Loretta Berryman, Shirley Howard, Delores Lawson and Clara Tarvadis; his brothers, Kenneth, Ray, Homer and Reed Howard. special niece, Debbie Nicely; and his in laws, James and Thelma Eads; brother in laws, Walter Wade Eads, Bobby Slusher; and nephews, Dr. Rodney Slusher.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda Eads Howard; his son, Jason Matthew Howard and wife Heather Williams Howard; grandchildren, Madelynn, Matthew, Myles and Ohma Monroe; his sister, Sally Rhodes; special nephew who was like a brother, Donnie Howard; in laws, Michael Eads and wife Laurie, Kathy Slusher and Rhonda Collins and husband Tim; he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends, including special friends, Delbert Stephens, E.V. Daniels, Larry Roark, Danny Daniels, Rev. J.C. Craig, Barry Carmical, Ted Pace, Rev. Jerry Collins and his beloved Church family.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Thursday (Feb. 13) at the Cawood Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Funeral and Church services will follow at 7:00 pm at the Church with Rev. Jerry Collins, Rev. Doug Daniel and Rev. Richard Long officiating.

Burial will be 1:00 pm Friday (Feb. 14) at the Saylor Cemetery at Pathfork, KY. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery just prior to the service time.

Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
