Robert Keith

Robert Emsley Keith, 59, of Mary Alice, Kentucky passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital.  Robert was born August 20, 1957 in Lynch, Kentucky son of the late Richard and Carmella Keith.  He was a Sunday School Teacher and Pastor’s Helper at the Cornerstone Community Church.  He was a retired Coal Miner from Great Western Coal Company.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Judy Gilbert Keith.

Surviving are his son, Robert (Michelle) Keith, II of Harrodsburg, KY; daughter, Carolyn (Jason) Powell of Mt. Sterling, KY; brothers and sisters, Joyce (Estil) Pate of Gulston, Doris (Bob) Anderson of Mary Alice, Alice Rasnick of Gulston, Kenneth “Buddy” (Susie) Keith of Cumberland, Jim Keith of Harlan, Charles (Betty) Keith of Harlan, Arville Keith of Harlan, Regina Tussey of Ft. Myers, FL, Josephine Keith of St. Robert, MO, Cindy Keith of Harlan, Richard Keith of Ft. Myers, FL, Mark (Alexis) Keith of Harlan, David Keith of Smith, and Thomas (Kayla) Keith of Smith; and grandchildren, Brynn Keith, Bristol, Keith, Bayleigh Keith, David Powell, Shiloh Powell, and Mattox Powell.  27 Nephews and nieces; 28 great nephews and great nieces; and 6 great great nephews and great great nieces also survive.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Cornerstone Community Church at Baxter.

Celebration of his life will be Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Cornerstone Community Church at Baxter.  The Rev. Jeff Mills will officiate the services.
