Robert Jager

Robert W. Jager, 89 of Harlan passed away Monday 1, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Jager was born Dec. 25, 1923 in Binghamtown, NY to the late John and Mildred Mae Walker Jager. He was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served during WWII. He was a member and deacon of the Harlan Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his stepson, Stephen Ringstaff; 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his wife Mildred Jager of Harlan; his children, Carla Jean Hinton, Robin Margaret Brown, Robert Jager, Jr., Pamela Dawn Jager, Linda Leigh Jager, Rene Brown, Shawn Patrick Jager, Laura Finne, Robert James Jager, Herbert Louis Jager, and Dian Isabel; step children, Mykal (Melissa) Ringstaff, of Harlan, Lyndon (Biancha) Ringstaff and Marilyn Ringstaff.; he is survived by 3 brothers, Jack Jager of Hanover Park, ILL, Herb Jager of California, and Peter Jager of Trumansburg, NY; 1 sister, Carol Snow of Fairport, NY.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday April 9, 2013 at the Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN with Full Military Rites being observed.
There will be no visitation.
