Robert "Bobby" W. McGuire

Robert W. “Bobby” McGuire, 63, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024. Born in Harlan County, KY, he was the son of the late Grady and Sarah Ellen Thomas McGuire.

Bobby loved the outdoors which led him to working as a farm hand at various horse farms or odd jobs throughout the community. He enjoyed fishing, visiting Harlan County and time with his dog, Baby.

He is survived by his sisters, Gwen (George) Sams and Karen (David) Hunter; his companion, Dedra Goins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5-7 PM Friday at Johnson’s Funeral Home, Georgetown, KY.

A graveside service will be 12 PM Saturday at the Thomas Family Cemetery, on Happy Top in Wallins Creek, KY.
