Richard "Rick" Schweizer

Richard Donald “Rick” Schweizer, 70 of Harlan passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday November 30, 2019 at the home of his sister, Linda (Frank) Shope in Teetersville, KY.

Rick was born October 25, 1949 in Detroit, MI to the late William D. and Dorothy Edwards Schweizer. He was a self employed residential electrician.

He had resided in Harlan since 2011. He was a member of the New Life Church in Tremont, KY and loved to attend the Harlan Senior Citizens Center in Harlan.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Sharon Cooper, and Carol Marrain; brother, Bob Schweizer.

He is survived by his siblings, Bill Schweizer, Tom Schweizer, Linda (Frank) Shope, and Keith (Lisa) Schweizer; his uncle, Jim Edwards a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including a very special friend, Darla Shepherd and family.

A gathering of family & friends will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019 from Noon until 1:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
