On October 6, 2022, nine days following the passing of his beloved mother, Raymond Stanton, 60 of Cawood, KY went home to be with her once again, after passing away at his home in Cawood.
Raymond was born November 14, 1961 in Harlan to the late George Hobert "Chick" and Elsie Farmer Stanton. He was a retired roofer, and could often be seen riding his 4-wheeler in Cawood area. He attended the Faith Holiness Church in Smith.
He is survived by his siblings, Ronnie (Lisa) Stanton, Clark (Donna) Stanton, Lisa (Allen) Hurst, and Jeff (Nina) Stanton; nieces & nephews, Kelli (Jeffrey) Sabins, Alex (Jennifer) Stanton, Seth Stanton, Abby Stanton, Jeffrey Stanton, and Jennifer Dickens; great nieces & nephews, Carter Sabins, Kinley Sabins, Ava Grace Stanton, and Weston Hurst; special friends, James Goldesberry, Euel and Helen Carter. He leaves a host of other relatives and friends are left to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Sunday (Oct. 9) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Spencer Burkhart and Rev. Franklin Stewart officiating.
Burial will follow in the Stanton/Brock Cemetery at Crummies where he will be laid to rest beside of his mother, Elsie.
Pallbearers will James Goldesberry, Allen Hurst, Rick Burkhart, Alex Stanton, Jeff Sabins, Seth Stanton, and Euel Carter.
