Raymond Cheek

Raymond Cheek, 78 of Cawood, KY passed away on Sunday morning of November 8, 2020 at the home of his daughter.
Raymond was born December 4, 1941 in Pineville, KY to the late Jim and Sarah Miracle Golden. He was a retired sawmill worker and farmer. He believed in the Holiness Faith and was member of the Little Creek Pentecostal Church.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Harley Cheek; grandson, Doyle Randall Baker; brothers, Charles & John Cheek.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Retha Gibson Cheek; sons, Arthur Cheek of Cawood and Marvin (Debbie) Cheek of Cawood; his daughter, Betty (Doyle) Baker of Cawood; grandchildren, Lois Ann (Brandon) Hall, Tiffany (Dillion) Campbell, Jessica (Jonathan) Teague, Jacob (Allie) Baker, Johnron Baker, Joshua Cheek, and Emily Cheek; great grandchildren, Noah and Gracie Hall, Jacie and Kolt Campbell, Morgan Baker, Arianna and Elaina Witt; he leaves a host of other relatives and friends to morn his passing.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday (Nov. 9) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Tuesday (Nov. 10) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Jesse Kinder and Rev. Terry Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Baker Family Cemetery on Little Creek in Cawood, KY.
Covid-19 Restrictions of 50% of our capacity, face masks, and social distancing all set by the Governor of Kentucky shall be followed.
