Peggy Ruth Grubbs Rhymer

Peggy Ruth Grubbs Rhymer, 74, formerly of Cawood, KY, passed away with her family surrounding her with love on Monday, May 6, 2024, at her residence.

Peggy was born on May 30, 1949, in Cawood, KY to the late Robert Lee Grubbs and Delta Beck Clem Grubbs.  In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Lee Clem and her sister, Lynn Brewer.

Peggy was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and gardening.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Willard Rhymer of the home; sons, Kendall Clem (Patricia) of Archdale, Clinton Clem (Jennifer) of Archdale, Eric Clem (Jessica) of High Point; sisters, Judy Grubbs, Carolyn Sue Noe (Stacy), Nancy Gail Stamm; brothers, Norman Grubbs (Muriel), Larry “Bun” Grubbs (Sharon), Gary Grubbs (Judy), Don Durham; precious grandchildren, Isabella Clem, Blake Clem, Ellie Clem, and Josie Clem.  Her many friends will also miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be 12:30 pm in the Little Creek Pentecostal Church in Cawood, Kentucky on Friday, May 10, 2024, with Reverend Gary Grubbs and Robbie Grubbs officiating and burial will follow in the Emily Grubbs Family Cemetery on Little Creek in Cawood.
