Paul Fugate

Paul Delbert Fugate, Sr., 77 of Coldiron, KY passed away Wednesday afternoon of June 8, 2022 at the Continue Care Hospital in Corbin, KY.
Paul was born April 21, 1945 in Harlan to the late James and Goldie Smith Fugate. He was a retired coal miner with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, ginseng hunting, and being in the mountains any chance he got.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Fugate; sister, Dorothy Lumpkin Brock.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Boyer Fugate for who they celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on June 5th, just 3 days prior to Paul's passing. His children, Yvonne (Mike) Johnson, Paul (Kristal) Fugate, Jr, and Glenn (Tessa) Fugate; grandchildren, Brandi Johnson, Shaun Johnson, David Paul Fugate, and Oliva Fugate; great children, Chase Shipman and Adessa Johnson; brother Wayne (Tina) Fugate; sisters, Janice Cornett and Martha Lumpkins Gambrel; he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives to mourn his passing.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday (June 14) at the Resthaven Cemetery Chapel, Keith, KY with Rev Carl Eldridge officiating.
Burial will then follow in the Resthaven Cemetery.
