Paul Fox

Paul Edward Fox, 66 of Harlan passed away on Thursday (Sept. 27) at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.

Paul was a retired coal miner who loved life, knowing him was knowing laughter. He was outgoing, loving, hard working and dedicated father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved fishing, laughing, the New Harlan Patriots, Harlan County Black-bears, and the Kentucky Wildcats. Nothing made him more proud than seeing his grandkids happy, healthy and playing sports. Most of all he loved Jesus, and said he was his best friend. His life is a reflection of happiness and contentment.

Preceding him in death is his, mother and father, Lucille and Bud Fox, brother in law: John Brewer, James Swanson, Paul Wayne Tyree, Paul Walker; former mother in law: Dora Ellen Saylor

Surviving are his, daughter and son in law: Chandra and Scott Howard, beloved grandchildren Hunter, Connor and Morgan Blevins, Taylor and Tye Howard; brothers and sisters: Jean Brewer, Helen (Euel) Carter, Ann Walker, Lou (Wes) Day, Jody Swanson, David (Patsy) Fox, Doug (Irene) Fox; his former father in law, Emory Saylor;  and a host of nieces and nephews; good friends, Tim and Diane Frazier, Jim Roddy, and June Milwee and children.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Monday (Oct. 1) in the chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Sunday at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
