Patsy (Pat) Johnson
October 4, 1948 — February 7, 2016
Patsy Sue “Pat” Johnson, 67 of Speedwell, TN formerly of Cawood passed away Sunday Feb. 7, 2016 at her home.
Pat was born Oct. 4, 1948 in Three Point to the late Winston and Hazel Osborne Pace. She was homemaker and former member of the Friendship Baptist Church at Cawood, KY and current member of Emmanuel Independent Baptist Church, Speedwell, TN.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Rita Swanson.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jerry Johnson of Speedwell, TN; and their children, Ricky (Michelle) Pace, Billie Renee (Ebb) Saylor, Nancy (George) Carpenter, Jill Middleton; one brother, James “Jimmy” Pace and fiancé Rose Knowles; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be Friday, February 12 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with funeral services following at 7:00 PM. Rev. Gary Craig and Rev. Donald Proffitt will officiate the services.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 13 with everyone meeting at 1:00 PM (meet at the cemetery) in the Irvin Cemetery. John Stewart, Jacob Stewart, Donald Pace, Mike Epperson, Freddy Epperson, and Grant Cooper will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to offset funeral expense at Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home, P.O. Box 763, Harlan, KY (606) 573-3757.
