Patsy E. Sheffield

Patsy E. Depew Sheffield, 75 of Totz passed away on Thursday April 19, 2018 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard.

Patsy was born March 30, 1943 in Harlan to the late Wint and Edith Bush Depew. She was a lifelong resident of Harlan Co., a graduate of Cumberland High School, and had been an office employee for Bellsouth in Cumberland, most recently a substitute teacher. She was a member of the Dione Missionary Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and loved to do crafts.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jack Wayne Sheffield, who preceded her on Feb. 9, 2018.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Jerome) Howard; grandson, Cody Howard all of Dione; brother, Joe (Ruby) Depew; sisters, Joyce (Sam) Lewis, and Jackie (Larry) King; she leaves several nieces, nephews, other relatives to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 9:00 pm Monday (April 23) at the Dione Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm Tuesday (April 24) at the Dione Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Luke Day and Rev. Mitch Huff officiating.

Burial will follow in the Monte Vista Cemetery in Cumberland where she will be laid to rest by her beloved Husband, Jack.
