Patricia Franks Hendren, 78, died, Sunday, November 5, 2017. She was born in Harlan, Kentucky on November 19, 1938 to the late Loyd and Hazel Kelley Franks. Patricia was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where she studied education. She was a retired School Teacher with the Harrodsburg Schointerment will bol District. In addition to her parents, Patricia is predeceased by two brothers, Darrell and Bob Franks.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin Hendren of Atlanta, Georgia, Kelly (Wendi) Hendren of Gerogetown, Kentucky; four brothers, Jim (Elsie) Franks, Ray (Wanda) Franks, Joel Franks all of Harlan, Kentucky, Harold Franks of Birmingham, Alabama; two sisters, Betty (Buck) Burkhart, Cuba Craig both of Harlan, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Autumn Fugate, Sam Fugate, and Allie Fugate.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., with visitation 12pm-1pm, Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Anderson-Laws Jones Funeral Home, 114 S. Third Street, Harlan, Kentucky. Interment will follow the funeral service in the Saylor Cemetery at Pathfork.
