Patricia Ann Greer

   Patricia Ann Hannah (White) Greer 64 of Cumberland, KY, went to see her lord and savior on early morning hours of January 19, 2024, at the Harlan ARH.   

    She was the daughter of Rev. James Hannah and Amanda Parker Hannah she was born on June 6, 1959, in Harlan, KY. She was a graduate of Cumberland High School in 1977, and furthered her education at Eastern Kentucky University and Southeast Community College where she obtained her associate degree. She was a 30-year employee to Bizzack Construction until she retired in 2008. 

    Patricia known as “Pat” to her closest family and friends, gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was under the leadership of her father, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Coxton, KY. In Coxton, she was an active member of the children and youth choir. After moving to Cumberland, KY, under her father’s leadership her she became a member of First Baptist Church where he was a pastor. Pat was involved with various activities such as Sunday school and choir. She went to later join Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Harlan under Rev. Walter Garland. She would also spend her free time playing softball she also loved cars, music, and movies. 

   Patricia (Pat) was married the love of her life Kelvin Greer October 28, 2014. They were married for over 16 years. 

   She was proceeded by death by her parents, Rev. James and Amanda Parker Hannah, brother Willie Lee Dixon, and stepson Alex Williams. She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband Kelvin Greer, son Keddron White, two grandsons Jeffrey Wilder and Kalani Potter, brother James K. Dixon, sister Linda P. Sweatt (Thomas), sister, Clara Atkinson, and niece Sonya Peeples (Hardin). Brother in law’s Gary Greer (Vicky) and Steve Greer, her special nephew who was always there when she called Timothy (Tim) Dixon and Cousin Terry Tinsley and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

    Visitation will be After 1:00 pm on Saturday (Jan. 27) at the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Harlan.

    Homegoing services will be at 2:00 pm (Jan. 27) at the Mount Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Walter Garlington officiating. 

    In keeping with Pat's wishes cremation will follow the services and all other services will be private.
