Ora Madge Robinette

Ora Madge Robinette, 91 of Catrons Valley passed away on Friday morning of December 18, 2020 at the Harlan ARH.
Madge was born in Rogersville, TN to the late John Pettibone Greene and Mary Cantwell Greene. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Teaching at the East Tennessee State University. It is at ETSU that she met her husband of 60 years Frank Robinette. She taught school for many years. She was a longtime member of the Harlan Baptist Church and was very active in her Joy's Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Harlan Homemakers Club.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Robinette; her son, John Walton Robinette, and 6 brothers & 3 sisters.
She is survived by her son, Karl Frank Robinette; her grandchildren, for whom she adored, Justin Robinette, Frank Walton Robinette, and James Grant Robinette; great grandson, Damon Robinette. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm 7:00 pm Tuesday, (Dec. 22) at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held 12:00 pm Wednesday (Dec. 23) at the Robinette Family Cemetery in Fairview, VA, where she will be laid to rest beside of her beloved husband Frank.
Flowers are welcomed, but the family request memorials to Christ Hands,  112 Railroad St, Harlan, KY 40831 or to the Harlan Health & Rehabilitation Center Activity Fund, PO Box 895, Harlan, KY 40831 in memory of Madge Robinette.
