Omer Wilson

Omer Wilson, 86 of Ages, Kentucky died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born August 6, 1930 in Harlan County son of the late David and Catherine Taylor Wilson.
Omer was a member of the Ages Baptist Church. He was retired from the Harlan County School System where he served as a furnace inspector.
Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Alma Davis Wilson and his sisters, Ellen Ball of West Virginia, Jenny Roark of West Virginia, and Eva Hensley of Virginia. Also surviving is a special friends, James Middleton and Larry Middleton.
Visitation will be Friday, May 5, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home. The Rev. James Burkhart will officiate the services.
Interment will follow the funeral in the Metcalf Family Cemetery at Nolansburg. Family and Co-Workers will serve as pallbearers.
