Mildred Saylor
February 9, 1927 — December 17, 2015
Mildred F. Saylor, 88 of Coldiron passed away Dec. 17, 2015 with her family by her side.
She was born Feb. 09, 1927 in Molus, KY to the late Shady and Alkie Fugate. She was a devout Christian for 71 years and 57 year member of Laymon Pentecost Holiness Church.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Blaine Saylor, granddaughter, Leighton Mae Saylor, brothers, Harold, Nelson, Floyd, Shady Jr, Therman and Don Fugate; sister, Cledith Demembro.
She is survived by 7 children, Sandra Stephens, Sharon (Moe) Saylor, Barbara (Mike) Howard, Tammie Saylor, Vanda (John) McNab, Darryl Saylor, Paul (Cheryl) Saylor, and a special friend that she loved as a daughter, Jennifer Nolan. Her grandchildren, Patrick (Jody) Stephens, Chad Saylor, Shelly (Tony) Ealy, April (Willie) Galloway, Michael Blaine (Beverly) Howard, Jordan (Freddie Joe) Howard, Samantha (Jeff) Settles, Dustin (George Ann) Simpson, Tyler Saylor, Preston Saylor, Rhinnan (Logan) Ashcraft, Jennifer Collins,and Adam Brewer and 15 great grandchildren. Sisters, Jewell Saylor, Ann Collins, and Sandy Fugate; several nieces, nephews, other family, friends, neighbors and her beloved church family are left to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Saturday (Dec. 19) from 6 – 9:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, and after 4:00 pm Sunday (Dec. 20) at the Laymon Pentecost Holiness Church in Coldiron until the funeral hour.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday (Dec. 21) at the Laymon Pentecost Holiness Church with Rev. John Neal and Rev. Thomas Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in the Laymon Cemetery with Grandsons serving as Pallbearers.
