Michael Hall

LOYALL-Michael Hubert Hall, 59 of Loyall passed away suddenly on Wednesday Dec. 24, 2014 at the Harlan ARH.

Mike was born August 12, 1955 in Harlan, KY to the late Hubert and Sylvia Larkey Hall. He was a lifelong resident of Harlan Co., and by trade was a self employed carpenter. He believed in the Church of God faith. He served the community of Loyall as a member of the Loyall Fire Department for several years and retired as Captain.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Joyce Hall; sister, Benita Decker.

He is survived by his daughter Rachel (Adam) High of London, KY; his longtime companion, Susan Howard Ball of Loyall and her children, Shannon Ball of London, KY, Leslie and Joe Ball Both of Loyall; brother, Roger (Lisa) Hall of Corbin, KY; sisters, Jane Hall (Fred) Seale of Corbin, JoAnna (Harry) Shepherd of Corbin, Helen (Bob) King of Nashville, Pam (Roger) Babb of Charlotte, NC, Vicky (Danny) Roland of Owenton, KY and Melanie Burkhart of Corbin, KY; his grandchildren, Jude High, expecting grandchild, Adina High, Austin and Tucker Ball; special friends, Owen Noe, Johnny Adams, Vern Guffy, John Wyrick, Charlie Wattenburger; he leaves other relatives and many friends that held a special place in his heart.

Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014 from 6-9 at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Mike’s life will be held 2:00 pm Sunday in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Bob King officiating.

Private Burial will be held at the Larkey Family Cemetery in London, KY.
