Matthew Ryan Estep

     Matthew Ryan Estep, 36 of Lawnvale, KY, passed away Thursday afternoon of January 11, 2024 due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. 
     Matthew was born October 1, 1987, in Johnson City, TN. He attended Happy Valley Highschool and the University of Tennessee and was a True Vols fan. He currently served as a FAST Manager for Tractor Supply Company. 
     Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents; Ruby Johnson, Wanda Forbes Walls, and Joe Estep Jr; his father-in-law; Larry White. 
     He is survived by his loving wife, Ashley White Estep; sons, Booker Ryan Estep and Hunter Estep; his mother and step father, Brenda and Michael Mahaffey; his father and step mother, Joe and Lisa Estep, his mother-in-law, Kimberly White, grandfather, Bill Johnson: brothers, Nick (Ashley) Estep, Brandon Cross, and Nicholas Cross; sisters, Lori Smith and Brianna (Kenny) Burton; sister-in-laws, Leslie (Aaron) Shell and Allison Good; nephews and nieces, Grace, Sarah, and Jordan Blanton, Drew Shell, Levi, Cooper, and Gracie Estep; special brothers, Cody Bartrum and Brian Whittington.
     Visitation will be 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the Teetersville Baptist Church. 
     Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the Teetersville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Paul White officiating. Obituary will be read by Cody Bartrum.
     Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY. Members of the Tractor Supply Company will serve as Pallbearers.
     Flowers are welcome, but the family suggest memorials be made to Harlan County 4H; 519 S Main St. Harlan, KY 40831 or Harlan County Boys and Girls Club; 1 positive Place, Harlan, KY 40831 in memory of Matt.
