Margaret Irene Burkhart

   Margaret Irene Burkhart, 77 of Keith, KY passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY.
   Margaret was born January 18, 1946 in Harlan, KY to the late Monroe and Marie (Payne) Saylor. Before her health began to decline, she attended Kentenia Full Gospel Church in Wallins, KY.
   Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Burkhart, and brothers; James Saylor, Emory Saylor, and Paul Saylor. 
   She is survived by her children; Kristie (Wesley) Boggs of Baxter, KY and Jonathan Burkhart of Baxter, KY, grandchildren; Bethany Boggs of Middlesboro, KY and Jeff Boggs of Baxter, KY, siblings; Johnny Payne of Olive Branch, MS, Janice Daniels of Cold Spring, KY, William "Moe" (Sharon) Saylor of Coldiron, KY, and Fred (Glenda) Saylor of West Chester, OH, she also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives to mourn her passing.
   Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday (Oct. 23) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home. 
   Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM Monday (Oct. 23) in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Brother Greg Abraham officiating. 
   Graveside service will be at 12:00 PM on Tuesday (Oct. 24) at Coldiron Cemetery in Coldiron, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family asks to meet at the cemetery just prior to the service time.
