Mae Cain-Manasco

Mae Cain-Manasco, age 94, of Brandon, Florida, formerly of Harlan, Kentucky went peacefully to be with the Lord on May 25, 2021 at 10:05 PM at her home. She was born October 30, 1926 in Harlan Co., KY. She believed in the Baptist faith.

Visitation will be held after 12:00 pm on Monday, June 7, 2021 until the funeral hour at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, 114 S. 3rd Street, Harlan, KY 40831. Funeral services follow at 2:00 pm June 7, 2021 in the Chapel of the Anderson Laws Jones Funeral Home, her grandson Dillon Cain will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY with Erik Cain, Dillon Cain, Shaun Cain, Bryan David England, Roger Seals, and Ricky Witt serving as Pallbearers. (Covid-19 Restrictions of 75% of our capacity, and social distancing all set by the Governor of Kentucky shall be followed)

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vira Ellen (Goode) and John Byrd Scott; husbands Clarence "Boog" Cain and James Manasco; children Danny Ray Cain, Priscilla June Cain, Billy Carson Cain, Clarence Cain JR., Ronnie Cain, and Mary Ellen Kidd; sisters Jewell Seals, Katrine Cain, and Patricia Waldron; and brothers Bob Scott, Morris Scott, and Ira Scott.

She is survived by children SueEllen (Cain) Mullins-Tardy - (Albert), Roger Allen Cain - (Brenda), James Edward "Eddie" Cain – (Julia), Judy Gail Peace – (Bobby Freeman), and son-in-law Kenny Kidd; 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren; brothers Pete Scott, Eugene Scott, John (Buddy) Scott; sister Orpha Pendery; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be sent to Life Path Hospice (Indigo Team), in honor of Nannie Mae Manasco; 3725 Upper Creek Dr. Ruskin, FL 33573
