Mable Ball

Mable B. Ball, 93 of Rio Vista passed away peacefully on Monday March 6, 2018 at her home following a brief illness.

Mrs. Ball was born June 15, 1924 in Harlan Co., KY to the late Isom and Amanda Carter Bunch. She was a homemaker and longtime member of First Baptist Church of Loyall. She enjoyed art, gardening and walking. She was a very avid reader of the Bible and a Kentucky Colonel.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Wayne E. Ball on January 8, 2018; her sisters, Marie Dugger and Jeanette Smith; brothers, Lawrence, Claude, and Robert Bunch.

She is survived by 2 children, Roger Ball and Susan Willis; grandson Mark Wayne (Bana) Ball; great grandchildren, Nicou and Nila Ball; sisters, Betty Caylor, Hazel Hull, and Roena McClain; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Friday (March 9) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Whitter officiating and Dr. Mark Wayne Ball doing Eulogy.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY.

Visitation will be after 10:00 am Friday, (March 9) until the funeral hour at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Flowers are welcome, but the family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church of Loyall, PO Box 220, Loyall, KY 40854 in memory of Mrs. Ball.
