Lynn Hopper

Lynn Brittain Hopper, 67 of Knoxville, TN passed away peacefully on afternoon of Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Shannondale Health Care Center.
Lynn was born May 23, 1954 in Knoxville, TN to the late Eugene Newcomb Hopper, Jr and Mary Virginia Silvers Hopper. She was a graduate of Rockdale High School, Rockdale, TX class of 1972. She then attended and graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1976 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She had a long career working at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, in her later years she became the caregiver for her beloved mother until her passing on February 20, 2020. She was a member of the Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, TN.
She is survived by her brothers, Larry (Vanessa) Hopper of Colorado and Greg (Angela) Hopper of Sevierville, TN; her nephew, Nathan Hopper; niece, Hannah (Greg) Hopper-Beck
The family will receive friends from 11:30 am - 12:30 am Saturday (March 26) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, 114 S. 3rd Street, Harlan, KY 40831.
Graveside services will follow at 1:00 pm at the Resthaven Cemetery Chapel in Keith, KY. She will be laid to rest beside her mother in the Resthaven Cemetery.
The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to the Saint James Episcopal Church, 1101 N. Broadway, Knoxville, TN 37917 in memory of Lynn.
