Louise Hensley

Louise Harris Hensley, 68 of Harlan passed away on Saturday January 11, 2020 at her home.

Louise was born October 19, 1951 to the late John Ance and Elsie Mae Day Harris. She was a homemaker and believed in the Church of God Faith.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Arthur, Elmer, and Louis Harris; sisters, Cassie Burgan, Irene Fox, Geraldine Elkins, and Maxine Allen.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina (James) Varney; grandson, the highlight of her life Andrew Ward Varney; very special friend and companion of over 20 years, Lamont Kaylor; sisters, Stella Canterbury, Dixie Rhymer, and Marie Dean and sister-in-law Sue Harris.  She leaves a host of nieces and nephews to also mourn her passing.

In keeping with Louise’s wishes a simple graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday at the Rhymer-Hicks Cemetery at Cranks, KY with Pastor David Greene officiating.

Burial will then follow in the Rhymer-Hicks Cemetery.
