Loretta Whitehead

Loretta Whitehead, 84, of Harlan Ky, went to her eternal peace and heavenly home on October 26. 2017. Loretta had a love for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great children and a Love for God and Jesus. Loretta was the daughter of Susie Curry Roark and Chester Irvin. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Tommy Irvin, Hayes Irvin, WJ Irvin and sister Inez woods. She is also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Frances Yvonne Skeene and infant granddaughter Crystal Yvonne Skeene and Grandson Jason Wesley Collett.
She is survived by 6 children, Debra (Johnny) Collett, Carl (Judy) Skeene, Cathy (Mike) Laws, Dannie (Michelle) Skeene, Michael (Earlene) Sheffield, and John (Lisa) Sheffield. She had 26 grandchildren, Johnathan, Ashley, Carl Anthony, Randy, Missy, April, Tommy, Daniel James, Leanna, Travis,Catherine, Misty, Brandon, Joseph, Victoria, Tiffany, Austin, Tyler, Shaunna, Derek, Rebecca, Bo, Joshua, and Caleb.
She left to mourn her 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Several Nieces and Nephew and other family.
Visitation will be 5 - 8 Sunday at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Monday in the chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Bro. Ernie Cox officiating.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith.
