Linda Ruth Hickson Poe, 67 of Harlan passed away Thursday Nov. 7, 2013 at the Harlan ARH.
Linda was born in Harlan Co., KY to the late Marvin and Carrie Juanita Ball Hickson.
She is survived by her husband, Carl R. Poe of Harlan; 2 sons, Billy Ball of Rio Vista, Jeffery Hickson of South Carolina; 1 daughter, Debbie Rensel of Northern KY; 2 grandsons, and 1 great granddaughter; 5 brothers, Calvin (Linda K.) Hickson of Virginia, Marvin (Rose) Hickson, Jr of West Virginia, Charles (Debbie) Hickson of Colorado, Bill (Chris) of Virginia, and Jack (Rhonda) Hickson of Cawood; 4 sisters, Marylnn Jo Owens of Ages, Sandy (Jerri) Vaneck of Colorado, Carolyn Campbell of Cawood, and Donna (Scott) Skeate of Virginia. She leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Jesse Kinder officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 11:00 am Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 until the funeral hour at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
