Linda Hensley

L inda Gail Hensley, 68 of Smith, KY passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Saturday July 2, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.
Linda was born February 15, 1954 in Harlan to Johnny Massingale and the late Wilma Perkins Massingale. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She had worked as an Assistant Manager for Magic Mart and most recently at Horizon Adult Health Care Center.  She was deeply loved by friends and family, she is beloved most by her Savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of the New Riverside Baptist Church at Smith where she had served as Church Pianist.
Besides her mother she is preceded in death by her sisters, Maxine and Elaine Massingale, and Judy Hensley; her brothers, Johnny, Jr, Jimmy, Kenneth, and Walter Massingale.
Besides her father she is survived by her loving husband, Roger Hensley; children, Crystal (Shaun) Blevins, Roger D. (LeAnna) Hensley, Jr, and Josh Hensley; her adoring grandchildren, Caroline, Collin, Destinee, and Carleigh Hensley, and Maci Blevins; her sister, Katrina (Cecil) Clemons; brother, Bryant Massingale; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Wednesday (July 6) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Colinger officiating.
A Private Burial will be held at the Smith Cemetery in Smith, KY with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
